Clay-colored Sparrow ~ This was the most common sparrow I saw this June in Alberta. It's buzzing call is reminiscent of an insect, and they can be remarkably hard to locate at times. At Clinton E. Lee Natural Area, they were nesting, and I saw several carrying yummy worms and other critters to their hatchings at their nests.
Four-Spotted Skimmer ~ This female dragonfly was photographed at Clinton E. Lee Natural Area, near Devon, Alberta, Canada. Both male and female dragonflies of this species were plentiful at that location in June.
Airport Detail ~ A view of the Edmonton International Airport. I had never been there in June before, and found the weather changeable, with thunderstorms most days, providing great sky shots.
