Some time ago San Luis Obispo County had a "Cow Parade" project in which various artists painted on cow sculptures, representing places or themes. These cows were mostly rather normal and sedate, prior to being painted. In Harmony, CA this visit, I found this quite different cow, titled Holy Cow! It was dressed in the garb of a Father from the California missions, held an ice cream cone, wore a round cheese, and was churning butter. I'm sure it was the inspiration of Harmony Valley Creamery, another business in this tiny town, boasting a population of 18. Holy Cow! is right.
