Walk Among the Trees ~ On a recent trip to northern California, I stopped at Prairie Creek State Park. This was a lovely trail among the redwoods, amid ferns and other lush plants.
Redwoods in the Fog ~ According to all accounts, this has been a very foggy summer on the northern California coast. My recent visit seemed to prove this, as each morning was heavily foggy. This is a shot of the redwoods in the fog at Prairie Creek State Park. I loved the lacy effect of the needles in the fog.
Among the Redwoods ~ This shot looking up among the redwood trees was at Jedediah Smith State Park. Being a little more inland, we had blue sky! It was lovely seeing the blue through the green needles, the sun dappling the redwood trunks.
