While traveling in the Chiricahua Mountains in southeast Arizona, driving up toward Rustler Park, a mother deer and this tiny fawn were beside the road. They crossed the road in front of us, and mom disappeared into the forest. The little fawn stood there by himself watching. It was the sweetest thing ever!

This jack rabbit was photographed near Pena Blanca Lake, southeast Arizona.
