This cactus was well past flowering, but I liked the remaining fruit, and could only imagine the spectacular array of blooms it must have had.
This pretty wildflower was photographed south of Green Valley, AZ. There was a large patch of them beside the road, so I took quite a few shots of them.
These beautiful yellow-orange flowers were growing in several areas in SE Arizona last week. I wasn't familiar with it, but my wildflower book IDs it as Desert Poppy.
