This cache was in the town of Kenai, in front of a taxidermist's shop. The bear beneath the cache was a stuffed polar bear. The antlers on the ledge are from caribou. I liked the grass and flowers on the roof. Although this cache is just decorative, such caches were traditionally used by hunters and people living in wilderness area, for storage of food and supplies, to keep them safe from bears.
We had breakfast in the car near this totem pole. and enjoyed its several figures.
This chapel was built in 1906, across the street from the church, atop the grave of Kenai's first priest.
