This is a view of part of Echo Park in Los Angeles. It is most well known for its large lotus beds in the lake, believed to be the largest lotus bed in North America. July is the best month for the lotus blooms, and photographers and other visitors come to enjoy the beautiful flowers. I clearly won't be able to get there this year, but I looked for some of my lotus images from previous July trips.
