Playing with my collected sea glass, and a bottle of wine of the same name. I've always liked collecting shells on beaches of the world that I have walked, and occasionally would find a piece of glass left by the sea. A few years ago I visited Glass Beach in northern California, which is known for the large amount of sea glass that washes up on shore. I spent several hours beachcombing there, and brought home collected glass. When I saw a wine called Sea Glass, I had to purchase it, of course. That was some time ago, and I finally used the bottle to create a still life on that theme. 9/21/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotographycom
I originally purchased this bottle of wine for an art reception for a featured artist show of my work in the local gallery. I chose it because I loved the label, so I saved it for later photo shoots. In this one I was playing with glass and reflections, and thought the label worked well for the set up. 9/18/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
I created this composite a couple of days ago, as the cover photo for my new book. The title of the book is "Threads of Life -Celebrations-" which may seem like a weird title, but it fits for the overall theme. So I needed a photo with thread in it. I think this one will work. 7/31/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
