Is anyone else old enough to remember the song about the doggie in the window?? Continuing on my walk around downtown Redlands on an evening stroll, I saw this dog as part of the window display at Lot 22 Olive Oil Company on State Street. I really don't know the significance of a dog in the olive oil store, but he did catch my eye! It was kind of tricky with the night lights and reflections, but at least you can see the dog on guard in this shot. 9/11/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
This is one of the murals painted on the walls of the "Backstreet Alley" in downtown Redlands, CA. (The Cat Lady title is mine). It's very different from the mural I posted yesterday, but I liked it as well. 9/10/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Wandering in downtown Redlands, I happened into "Back Alley" a small alley between buildings. The alley with the umbrellas has been developed, has several restaurants there, with outside seating. This alley has not been renovated, but has been used for outdoor art shows. I had never been in this one, and was happily surprised to find several interesting murals painted along the walls. This was one of them, which I liked a lot. I will likely show some of the others at a later date. I am always amazed when I find places to explore in this town where I have lived for 37 years! 9/9/20 My website: wwwl.sparhawkphotography.com
