Earlier this year when my daughter and family came down from Edmonton for a visit, we spent a fun afternoon at the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum. In one hallway they had these great painted walls, I think for people to take selfies. The butterfly wall was one of my favorites, and my granddaughter Emily posed in front of it. I can't believe how big she is getting--she was just 22 months old when she came over from China, and was just a tiny little thing! 6/17/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Years ago I visited a Renaissance Fair in Colorado, and one of the artisans there had created many wonderful ceramic faces of women. I was so taken by them, I photographed quite a few of them. (They were pretty expensive so I didn't by one, tho I was sorely tempted!) Tonight I happened to run across a couple of these old shots, and decided to share this one. I loved the way the artist captured her features and headwear. 6/13/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
