This hardware was on an old wagon in Randsburg, California. Randsburg is an old mining town with lots of historical places and artifacts.
While wandering in an old almost-ghost town, there was so much old wood, I just couldn't resist taking a few shots. This one of them.
This sculpture of a roadrunner presides over a rest stop on the eastbound I-10 just west of Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was built by Olin Calk, of recycled materials, and stands 20 feet tall and is 40 feet long. What a fun attraction.
