I seem to have developed a reputation for loitering in the liquor department at Costco, so I hesitate to show yet another wine bottle that caught my eye, However these were just too eye-catching to pass up today. This is called The Pundit, and is a produced by James Suckling-Columbia Valley, Washington State. It is described as a very complex & fragrant syrah created by whole-cluster fermentation, with a core of ripe summer berries and red plums...with fresh ground spices. Taken with my cell phone. 12/16/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
When I was wandering in downtown San Bernardino a few weeks ago, I spotted this very elaborate double gate, locking off an area between two buildings. I photographed it, but had trouble getting just the view I wanted. One of the shots was this, showing only a small portion of the gate, and thus emphasizing the elaborate grill work and the shadows cast on the wall beyond. I decided this was my favorite shot of the gate. 12/4/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Still wandering in Old Town Temecula, across the street from the shop with cows and pigs, I spotted this building. I really liked the look of the painted tiles around the doorway, and the ironwork. It was quite a contrast from the other shop. 8/4/21 www.sparhawkphotography.com
