I took this photo on a hike through San Timoteo Canyon, Redlands, CA. I liked the repeated patterns of the hillside slopes, the mountains, and even the clouds.
A view of the famous rows of palm trees that have meant "Redlands" over the years. This painterly version gives a softness to the scene.
~ The historic US Post Office was built by the WPA, completed in 1935. It is in the Mission/Spanish Revival style. It was listed on the National History Registry in 1985, and has continued as an active post office for almost eighty years. It is currently slated for closure. Judith Sparhawk
