This exterior staircase is on the back side of Redlands City Hall. The building used to be a Crocker Bank--does anyone still remember Crocker Bank? I liked the zig-zag of the ornate bannisters on the staircase. 3/19/19 Judith Sparhawk
The last rain storm ended, leaving the snow level quite a bit lower than usual. I got out for the afternoon yesterday, and saw these snow covered trees at the top of the mountains. Admittedly this was taken with my 400 mm zoom, so it looks closer than it was, but this was the sight above Redlands, from a lower peak that doesn't always get snow. Supposed to be more rain tomorrow, but look at that blue sky! 2/20/19 Judith Sparhawk
This shot was taken on a hike in San Timoteo Canyon the other day. The recent rains have greened up the hillsides wonderfully. In some of our drought years we hardly get even a hit of green, so it is very refreshing to see the bright green hills. 2/15/19 Judith Sparhawk
