~ The Lincoln Shrine in Redlands houses the largest source of Lincoln materials west of the Mississippi River. It is both a museum of rare and costly Lincoln documents and memorabilia, and a research institute for all things Lincoln. It was built in 1932 at the instigation of Robert Watchorn.
~ Redlands is well-known for its varied architecture. During early settlement of the town, it became a popular wintering place for wealthy Easterners and Mid-Westerners. Because of growth during this period, Redlands boasts many beautiful Victorian homes. This photo is a composite of four such homes.
