Christmas week brought two rainstorms to Redlands, which left a good coating of snow on the mountains above town. When I returned to Redlands from San Diego, the newly fallen snow was a lovely sight. This is a painterly version of one of the early morning shots I took, as I post the last one of the year. 12/31/19 Judith Sparhawk
This is a much more wintry view than I would get right now, but it is the mountain view I see when I go on my walk most days. The palm trees look like they could use a good pruning or a good windstorm, but I liked the sunlight on the palms with the clouds over the mountains. 2/15/20 Judith Sparhawk
The sunset in the west gave a pink glow on the clouds and the snowy mountain peaks, with the full moon rising. The signature palm trees of Southern California stand guard. 2/7/21 www.sparhawkphotography.com
