The AK Smiley Library in Redlands, CA has beautiful historic architecture, including a tower. This is a detail shot of part of the tower. A visit to the library is a visual treat by itself, not to mention books!
This exterior staircase is on the back side of Redlands City Hall. The building used to be a Crocker Bank--does anyone still remember Crocker Bank? I liked the zig-zag of the ornate bannisters on the staircase.
The last rain storm ended, leaving the snow level quite a bit lower than usual. I got out for the afternoon yesterday, and saw these snow covered trees at the top of the mountains. Admittedly this was taken with my 400 mm zoom, so it looks closer than it was, but this was the sight above Redlands, from a lower peak that doesn't always get snow. Supposed to be more rain tomorrow, but look at that blue sky!
