A filtered view down Orange Street Alley in Redlands, CA. The umbrellas are an art installation in the alley, which has been renovated, with three restaurants, outside eating, and several murals.
This is the Orange Tree Chapel on the grounds of the Edwards Mansion that I posted yesterday. This shows a side view, the front door and the stained glass window in the back wall of the chapel. Weddings are held in the chapel, and receptions and other events in the garden and mansion.
I have been by the Olive Avenue Market in Redlands a hundred times--it was once a little corner market, now a charming little place to stop by for coffee and and a bite to eat. I went by the side, and for the first time noticed this bench with a mural above it. It was filled with dappled light and shadows, difficult to shoot; however I ended up liking the final effect, difficult to tell what was shadow and what was "real".
