We finally had our first winter storm, with rain all day on Thanksgiving and into the night. The snow level came down much lower than in most storms, nicely blanketing the mountains. This shot was taken a few blocks from my home, and it shows the orange grove in the foreground, the San Bernardino Mountains above Redlands in the background. 12/2/19 Judith Sparhawk
Christmas week brought two rainstorms to Redlands, which left a good coating of snow on the mountains above town. When I returned to Redlands from San Diego, the newly fallen snow was a lovely sight. This is a painterly version of one of the early morning shots I took, as I post the last one of the year. 12/31/19 Judith Sparhawk
This is a much more wintry view than I would get right now, but it is the mountain view I see when I go on my walk most days. The palm trees look like they could use a good pruning or a good windstorm, but I liked the sunlight on the palms with the clouds over the mountains. 2/15/20 Judith Sparhawk
