A few weeks ago I posted pics of the kittens belonging to the neighbor across the walkway from my condo. One was pale with blue eyes. If there's any question on where he got those eyes, meet Kiki, the kitten's Dad. All three kittens were outside playing, with Dad looking on. While walking around the Oak Glen School and Museum grounds the other day, I was surprised to find a little patch of violets in bloom. They were the only flowers anywhere, and it was so great to see them. I love the sweet scent of violets, which takes me back to childhood when I would pick them from the garden and put them in a tiny vase.
