This unusual water lily with its variegated lily pads was photographed at the Getty Villa in Malibu, California. The Villa is a wonderful small museum filled with Greek and Roman antiquities, surrounded by gardens, ponds and fountains. I had a project I was working on, and it ended up like this--just for fun, in a way. I also have a version which was converted to B&W, except for the red items. This is for a show with the theme, Black, White & Red. I think I like it a bit better in color, but it was fun working on both of them. I'm not sure if I'm 100% finished, but we will see.
