For those of you old enough to remember the Burt Bacharach song, sung by B J Thomas from the movie "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid", this seemed like an appropriate title for this shot of raindrops in the puddle. I had gone out walking during a break in the rain, when it suddenly started up again, and I was chased back inside again! When out walking on a rainy day, I noticed these leaves on the sidewalk outside my complex. I really liked the raindrops on the larger leaf, and the mix of colors against the texture of the concrete walkway. We have rain! I know for most of you who have rain any old time, why am I so excited to have a rainy day? During a several year long drought, any rain is an event, and rain that lasts overnight and all through a whole day, yay! When there was a brief break, out I went with my camera, and ended up taking a few pics. These Pyracantha berries had raindrops on them, and I could just feel them enjoying the moisture, soaking it up and relishing it, as I was as well.
