Several people mentioned the variety of colors in the lotus bed in the overview pic of Echo Park in Los Angeles. For that reason I am posting one of the white lotus flowers. This is one of the lotus blooms from Echo Park in Los Angeles. I posted an overview shot of the park; this focuses in on one perfect flower. Visiting there, it's hard not to take about a zillion shots of the flowers. I promise I won't show all zillion, tho I don't promise not to show maybe a couple more. In Buddhism, the lotus flower symbolizes fortune; in ancient Egypt it symbolized creation.
