Unlike here in California, the most common gull in Texas is the Laughing Gull. They are everywhere along the coast. When I was on Padre Island, I saw this line up of gulls, and thought it would make a fun shot. 5/5/23 www.sparhawkphotography.com

This little cutie is a Spotted Ground Squirrel, a tiny little squirrel found scampering around the sand dunes on Padre Island, Texas. This one appeared to be only a few inches tall, although Google says he can be up to 10 inches.
