This is just a tiny bit of the very elaborate Christmas decorations outside a certain house in Redlands. It has been displaying during the holidays for years--I had tried getting full scope of it all before, but the details were lost in all the bright lights and mix of everything imaginable. Just this little scene around the corner appealed to me much more, so I'm sharing it today. 12/12/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
On my walk the other day I covered some neighborhood streets that I hadn't walked for several months. At one yard I saw these large Prickly Pear Cactus plants, just loaded down with fruit. I don't know that the owner planned to harvest and use it, but I do know that the fruit can be used to make juice, jelly, candy and other things. If they plan to use it, they have quite a crop, which looks ripe and ready for picking! 12/11/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
I grabbed my camera as I headed out the door for my walk today. I didn't have anything in mind, but there were some interesting clouds in the sky. As I walked in the neighborhood, I passed this shrub with these very pretty yellow flowers. As I took a couple of quick shots, a honeybee photo- bombed my view, so that's the one I'm posting today. Here's a bit of bright sunshine for your day. 12/10/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
