In one area of the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, there were several decorative etched glass pieces--there was a butterfly, a parrot, and others, including this Nautilus Shell. It doesn't really show as etched glass in this image, but I thought it made a neat abstract, including the arches above it.
In contrast to what I have shown of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles so far, many parts of it are very modern and light. This is a view of a small part of the Garden Cafe, a great spot to get off your feet and grab a quick lunch.
I guess I must be itching to take a road trip up the coast, as I was drawn to some of my old images from Morro Bay. This view if of Morro Rock and the town of Morro Bay from Montana de Oro State Park. It was a brisk December day with great waves and windblown mist.
