In contrast to the ornate dresses and dancing ladies, this costumed monk at the Renaissance Fair had a very different look. When I saw him he was outside the entrance to the fair and in good ole English warned us sinners not to go into the fair with all its debauchery! Another character in costume at the Renaissance Fair last month. I know I may be going overboard with the Ren Fair pics, but it was nice to be back after a 2 year hiatus. The shooting conditions weren't great, as it was very bright and sunny, with lots of distractions. This image is of three people I happened to see at the Renaissance Fair in Irwindale, CA. I don't know if they were performers or were just wearing quite elaborate costumes at the fair.
