In my recent visit to San Diego, I saw a lot of these Brants, a small dark, stocky sea goose that frequents the West Coast and some areas of the East Coast. It feeds on aquatic plants in shallow bays and estuaries. I saw several small flocks of them over a couple of days. 3/29/22 www.sparhawkphotography.com
This very pretty flower was blooming in the Australian Walkabout section of San Diego Safari Park. I'm not familiar with what the flower is, and I don't know if it is specifically Australian, but couldn't resist shooting it.
