For over 25 years I taught a creativity class to adults. One of the assignments I gave my students was to make a collage of found images that had special meaning to them.. Over the years I made many of these collages. I was looking at them the other day, and enjoyed them all over again. This is just a corner of one of the collages--clearly I was in a beach mood when I made it! I will likely be posting some of my favorites from time to time. 5/6/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Going back into my pics of the wild horses in Arizona, I noticed this one of the "laughing" horse. He was standing in with some other horses on the hills beyond Saguaro Lake, and had been grazing on the brush on the dry hillside. Suddenly he began making very funny faces like this, and some with his tongue out. I didn't appreciate them at the time, but looking back, I got a kick out of this one. 2/5/22 www.sparhawkphotography.com
On my Christmas trip to San Diego I went out to Sunset Cliffs by Ocean Beach, CA. As I walked along the cliffs looking for birds, I noticed this woman sitting by the ocean, looking at her phone, and ignoring her cute little dog, who was patiently waiting on the bench beside her. This is a filtered version of the shot. BTW--Happy Groundhog Day! 2/2/22 www.sparhawkphotography.com
