Several years ago I went on a field trip to San Juan Capistrano Mission, down the coast a bit. After shooting the mission, I walked across the railroad tracks to Los Rios, an historic district of San Juan Capistrano. This cute area has building dating back to 1794, and now has small shops and restaurants. This shot is a filtered version of a window at a garden and gift shop that I saw as I wandered the area.
Still working on abstracts. This was made from a pic of an apartment house in Chinatown in Los Angeles. I took it a long time ago, and I liked the shadows, red railings and the laundry hanging on one of the balconies, but overall it was kind of boring. Once I turned it into this abstract, I liked the effect.
A filtered version of some beautiful iris blooms presented at the annual flower show in Redlands some time ago.
