This is another view of some of the details of the Getty Villa Museum in Malibu, California. There was something to shoot everywhere I looked--don't worry I won't show them all! Between the buildings and gardens, it was a feast for the eyes (and camera!). 8/29/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
This shows just a tiny bit of architectural detail at the Getty Villa in Malibu, California. The Villa is one of the two J. Paul Getty museums in Los Angeles. It is built after a Roman country house, with many wonderful features, plus 4 gardens, and an excellent collection of Greek and Roman art and antiquities. It is a great place to shoot architecture and gardens. I would go more often if the traffic getting there wasn't so terrible! 8/28/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Tern Lake is at the junction of Seward and Sterling Highways on the Kenai Peninsula. It's a great stop for birding, as it is a nesting place of Arctic Terns, Mew Gulls and Trumpeter Swans, all three of which we saw when we stopped there. We also saw muskrats swimming by in the shallow waters. Wild roses were blooming on large bushes by the parking lot. OK, this is the last Alaska shot I'll be posting. I sure would like to get out there in the world and get some new photos! Staying close to home sure doesn't offer many exciting possibilities! 8/27/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
