This image is from several years ago when I visited Keys Ranch, an old ranch within the Joshua Tree National Park grounds. There were several old cars that had been out in the desert elements for years, and their windows were cracked and corroded. This is a close up of one of the old weathered windows, cropped, and adjusted for color on the computer. 2/28/20
In one area of the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, there were several decorative etched glass pieces--there was a butterfly, a parrot, and others, including this Nautilus Shell. It doesn't really show as etched glass in this image, but I thought it made a neat abstract, including the arches above it. 2/23/20
