Baptisms are held on weekends at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Los Angeles. All the little girls and boys are dressed in white, and are so cute. This little girl was held in her father's arms, and I was very taken my her curly hair and eyes looking out at me. One of the dances from Rhythm India, the performance I saw at the Redlands Bowl's Summer Music Festival last Friday. This was one of my favorites, with the dancers whirling and twirling in a blur of color and music. A still photo doesn't do this dance justice--maybe video would have been a better choice! This is the 98th year that Redlands has presented a Summer Music Festival at the Redlands Bowl, an outdoor amphitheater. It is the country's longest running such music festival for which there is no charge. They get wonderful, top level music, dance and theater performances every year. Friday night I attended the Joya Kuzi Unlimited Rhythm India. It was a great evening of dance, music and color. This is one of the photos I took that evening.
