Mr. and Mrs. Western Meadowhawk ~ These dragonflies were new to me, and I loved their colors, not realizing they were male and female of the same species, until they began mating before my very eyes. They were very beautiful.
Common Whitetail ~ This dragonfly was so white in the sunlight, it was very distinctive. It kept lighting on branches just a little too far away.
~ This was probably the most common dragonfly at the pond, and it was the first time I've ever seen it. Very handsome in black and white.
