Bad Hair Day ~ This strange caterpillar was photographed in Cave Creek Canyon in the Chiricahua Mountains of Southeast Arizona. I have not been able to identify it yet. ID help welcomed.
Mature Horse Lubber ~ This view shows the Horse Lubber all grown up, with wings well developed and adult colors formed. It was still walking more than hopping, but when it did use its wings to hop, the underwings showed a red pattern. A very interesting insect and fun to watch and photograph.
