Face On ~ Another view of my very green grasshopper, this time face on. I larger sizes, tiny hairs show up, as well as the water drops from watering my plants. He sure doesn't like the spray, even on 105 degree days.
Grasshopper on Fern ~ My patio "pet" grasshopper keeps growing and shows up every day or so when I water the plants. When he hops into a position to photograph, I grab my camera and try for a few new shots.
Grasshopper ~ I posted a photograph of this green grasshopper that I had taken on 7/27/13, in my little patio. I hadn't seen it again until today, 8/15/13, 19 days later. I was amazed by how much it had grown, perhaps from one inch to almost two inches in that time. Viewed in larger sizes, the texture and markings on this little guy are more noticeable.
