Western Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly ~ This swallowtail was one of many fluttering around the Bird and Butterfly Garden in the Tijuana River Valley area near San Diego, CA.
Malachite Butterfly ~ This is one of my favorite butterflies, and it was pretty uncooperative, flitting from flower to flower. It must have known it's my favorite, as it fluttered over and lit right on my camera. Others got that shot, but of course I couldn't!
