Yuba Fritillary ~ This pretty butterfly seemed to be the most common one this August on the east side of the Sierras.
Sierra Pericopid Moth ~ This pretty little moth was fluttering around in mountain meadows during the daytime in Yosemite National Park. I liked its black and white markings and the orange spots by its head.
Common Whitetail-Female ~ This female dragonfly was resting on these flowers, near Lost Lake, out of Fresno, California.
