Blue-eyed Darner ~ This male Blue-eyed Darner was photographed at San Jacinto Wildlife Area in southern California. This species lit on twigs and branched, alwaysvertically, straight up and down, rather than perching on the tops of grasses or twigs.
Wandering Glider ~ This small yellow dragonfly was one of many species seen at San Jacinto Wildlife Area. They mostly flitted around, and were difficult to photograph as they seldome stopped to light on the nearby twigs.
Blue-eyed Darner ~ While birding at San Jacinto Wildlife Area, I saw many types of dragonflies. This Blue-eyed Darner was one of them.
