Grasshopper Green ~ This little grasshopper showed up in my patio recently. The first time I saw it, it was about one-half inch long. Each day when I went out to water my plants, it would hop up out of the way of the water. By now it has grown to about an inch, so I decided to photograph it. It blends in very well with the green leaves of my plants.
