Arizona Sister ~ This beautiful butterfly, when seen close up, has several colors and markings in the upper wings, that just appear dark brown when it flies by. It was photographed in Miller Canyon, in the Huachuca Mountains in southeast Arizona.
Arizona Sister Butterfly ~ The upper wings of this butterfly looks almost exactly like the California Sister; however the Arizona Sister is slightly larger and has some variations on the underwing pattern. This one was photographed in Miller Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains of southeast Arizona.
Black Caterpillar ~ This caterpillar was photographed in Garden Canyon, in the Huachuca Mountains in southeast Arizona. It was completely black, with the exception of red feet. ID needed.
