Western Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly ~ Today I visited the Bird and Butterfly Garden, part of the Tijuana River Valley Park. There were several of these beautiful butterflies visiting the flowering bushes in the garden.
Banded Orange Heliconian ~ This view of the Banded Orange Heliconian butterfly shows the face, including the pattern in the eye; this is more visible in the larger sizes.
