This beautiful Mexican Wolf seemed very intent on watching people who were watching him. I love his golden eye and thick coat. He was at The Living Desert in Palm Desert, California.
Elephant Seal Standoff ~ These two young males Elephant Seals were engaging in "practice" fighting, getting ready for the real thing, in early spring. They made amazingly loud bellows, and were fun to watch.
~ This was the momma ground squirrel, nearby her 5 or more baby squirrels. She was very cute munching on dandelions before moving on to other weeds.
