This cheetah was photographed at San Diego Safari Park.
I made a stop at San Diego Safari Park, trying out my new Sigma 150-600 mm lens. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it does make sharper pics than my 70-300, and sure can pull subjects in a LOT closer (naturally). This gorilla sat for his portrait.
I was birding yesterday at San Jacinto Wildlife Area, and looking up the path beside a pond was this big turtle. Looks like a Red Slider, but I've never seen one this large--it was about 9-10 inches long. It just sat there and let me shoot away.
