Lady in Waiting ~ This Cattle Egret was sitting on her nest, in a tree with many egret nests. Her rusty plumage is only during breeding; otherwise she has all white feathers.
Black-crowned Night Heron & Young ~ There's a bit of a family resemblance showing in this picture, but apparently the young goes from yellow eyes to red over time.
Cattle Egrets Winging It ~ This pair of Cattle Egrets were nesting in a tree with many other nests. Although she was sitting on the nest, and likely had eggs, he was still going out to find new nesting materials, as well as bringing back food.
