Feeding Baby Brandt's Cormorants ~ This image shows a family with two young, with both parents present, one having just returned from the ocean with food for the babies. This shows one of the young with its head stuck deep into the parent's throat, to receive the regurgitated fish. Yum!
Young Brandt's Cormorants ~ I revisited La Jolla Cove in the San Diego area. The nests I had photographed with parents on eggs, now have half-grown young. In this image, the three young in this nest are begging for food.
