American Avocet Duo ~ The avocets were photographed at San Jacinto Wildlife Area this morning. They are in full breeding plumage, showing the rufous heads and necks. I liked the reflections, and the way they were walking two-by-two.
Seeing Double ~ These American Avocets were photographed at San Jacinto Wildlife Area. I liked the way they look like they are facing off, reflections and all.
The Hitchhiker ~ This Cattle Egret was on the back of this large sheep this morning when I drove by a field in the San Jacinto Valley. There were about 6 "hitchhiking" egrets, and quite a few sheep with many little lambs. I thought it made a fun picture.
