Nesting Black-crowned Night Herons ~ I enjoyed watching this pair of nesting herons in the San Diego area, including bringing more twigs for the nest, mating right on the nest, and "cuddling" afterwards.
Snowy Egret Flying ~ I was happy to capture this Snowy Egret in flight, just taking off, just as his yellow feet cleared the water. This photo was taken in the San Diego area.
Canada Geese Flying ~ These geese flew over while I was visiting in Canada this week. I referred to them as Canada Geese. A local told me they were just "geese", since they were in Canada.
