Pelicans in Flight ~ Part of the large flock of White Pelicans soaring overhead at Salton Sea. They were soaring effortlessly, almost no wing movement.
Yellow-footed Gull ~ Of all the gulls I saw today at Salton Sea, this was the only one with a dark mantle. I really stood out, and I was happy to see its yellow legs and feet, making sure it was a Yellow-footed Gull, not a Western Gull with its pink feet and legs.
