America's Iconic Bird ~ Despite living under "rescue" conditions, this bird looks beautiful and majestic. I was happy to capture him.
Red-tailed Hawk Portrait ~ This male redtail came to the rescue park when he developed visual problems that kept him from seeing well enough to hunt. He had beautiful plumage and posed nicely for me.
Barn Owl Portrait ~ This Barn Owl was photographed at Big Bear Rescue Park where he lives. It was difficult shooting through wire and in a very shaded cage, so I was happy to get a result as good as this.
